The University of Birmingham needs EAS Tutors: tutors with English & Academic Skills (EAS) for Pathway Courses 2009. Have a read below and apply if think you've got what they want.

Applicants must have: a first degree diploma-level qualifications as defined in section 4.2 of the British Council's Accreditation UK handbook British Council (p.46-47) extensive teaching experience in EFL, EAP and IELTS preparation, specifically for the preparation of students for entry to UG and PG academic university programmes.

Desirable:

MA in a TEFL-related area We particularly welcome applications from teachers who have a background in preparing students for entry to academic programmes and therefore have content knowledge of International Foundation Programmes and Presessional Programmes.
